The Sex Museum

Nearby Tongli is one of those quaint little canal-side towns where little old women sit on their doorstep preparing meals and gardens are filled with phalluses. Well, not all the gardens. Just one in particular. The garden of the Sex Museum run by a septuagenarian professor of sexology. Inside you’ll find all sorts of delights such as rings worn by prostitutes to show they were up for oral sex and antique double-headed dildos. The exhibits are largely heterosexual but there’s a gay section and plenty to show people were swinging all over the place until Mao came along and stopped all the fun.
