The Carmen Miranda Museum
Please! Did you really think you could come to Rio de Janeiro and not see HER! In a weird space ship shaped museum in Flamengo Park, you’ll see Carmen Miranda’s original outfits, many restored for the anniversary, as well as an exhibition of material donated by the estate of Alberto Barreto, a Rio native who relocated to Chicago and had the largest private collection of Miranda memorabilia in the world.

It’s not really a gay space… and, worse, the museum is in very bad condition, in need of restoration, bad administrated and have irregulars time schedules for visitation…. that’s not the place!!!
