Sidelines Sports Bar
In the center of the city’s gay nightlife, this major player has 14 widescreens of sports games playing at all times – although not every patron seems to be into the sports on a Friday night.
Play pool, watch a game, play darts or tunes on the jukebox, and let the many friendly bartenders get you tipsy. (If you can, go and order from Tanner; she’s the short, blondish lesbian and she pours like a champ and is nice as the day is long.)
The crowd is a mix of neighborhoodsy folks, real sports fans, gay daddies and twinks, and they’re always happy to meet visitors. Play ball!
This is a bar that has the most friendly staff and customers in town. It’s a fun and comfortable environment, even if you’re not into sports. But, if you are a sports fanatic like me, this is the place to go. Football season is a crazy fun-filled time and at Sidelines, their fans are the best cheering section. The men are good-looking and the girls are even cuter!
Sidelines is perfect for the sports minded jock and those who love ‘em. One of the friendlist bars around and if you love sports, even better (but really not a requirement). I always try to attend their sports outings to major sporting events and even watch some of their sponsored teams in softball, bowling, darts . . . you name it and they probably have a team.
