The underground Metro system doesn't run between 1am and 5:30am, so be prepared to bus- or cab-it home after a late night of partying.
Carte Orange cards are the best deals for carefree Metro riding. Just be sure you have an extra passport photo handy.
Hike up Montmartre to enjoy one of the most incredible sunrise views of the city. Go early to avoid the throngs of tourists.

Parisians aren't as snobby as you think. As long as you don't fit the "loud, obnoxious American" stereotype, they won't fulfill theirs. They're always happy to answer questions if you're lost or don't understand certain words.
