Paris Fast Facts:
- Gayborhood The artsy and cool "Marais" is Paris' most obvious gay area, spanning blocks across the 3rd and 4th arrondisements on the Right Bank. But the enire city is ready to romance gay travelers.
- Along with Colette, fashionistas must visit the new Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton stores.
- The underground Metro system doesn't run between 1am and 5:30am, so be prepared to bus- or cab-it home after a late night of partying.
- Carte Orange cards are the best deals for carefree Metro riding. Just be sure you have an extra passport photo handy.
- Hike up Montmartre to enjoy one of the most incredible sunrise views of the city. Go early to avoid the throngs of tourists.

- Pick up a copy of LGBT monthly Tetu (en francais) to catch up on all the most current events around town.
- Parisians aren't as snobby as you think. As long as you don't fit the "loud, obnoxious American" stereotype, they won't fulfill theirs. They're always happy to answer questions if you're lost or don't understand certain words.
