Recommended Sights & Activities in Minneapolis:
Guthrie Theater
The Tony-winning Guthrie has long been one of the country’s best regional theater companies (it’s also where hometown boy T.R. Knight got his start), and now housed in its stunning Jean Nouvel-designed riverside showplace (opened in 2006), it’s all the more impressive. Truly the building’s design is inspiring, as is its annual roster of shows and guest artists (expect visits from the likes of Tom Stoppard and Sir Ian McKellen). Take a tour of the complex Fri-Mon at 10am ($10).
