Graves 601 Hotel
A cross between a spiffy business hotel and a sleek boutique hotel, Graves 601 is the kind of joint where the soap is by Hermes, the duvets by Frette and the bathrooms feature a rigorous “power shower.” Downstairs are swank eateries and the uber-trendy Inifinity Room. A bit velvet ropey-but fun, if someone else is paying! Rooms from $209 to $5,000.
Prince memorabilia that is…
The Graves 601 is a great hotel. My partner and I stayed there a few months ago. Right on Hennepin Ave close to great bars and restaurants. Room is very nice, great views of Mpls. Also right across the street from the Target center and the infamous 1st Ave & 7th St Entry where Purple Rain was filmed. Parking is available in ramp but if you are staying at the Graves you might as well valet. If you park in the ramp it can be a bit confusing to get there because you pass through a mini-mall and then have to go down an elevator and then up again. The lobby is located on an upper floor. While walking thru the mall check out the Price memorabilia located outside the Hard Rock Cafe Minneapolis. 112 Eatery is a few blocks north a great place for late night eats otherwise if you feel like staying in try ordering from Pizza Luce.
