The name of this bar comes from a local phrase literally meaning “Carioca to the Yolk” which translates best to English as a “Rio native to the core.” Here in this exciting Lapa bar, you’ll see great bands and get lots of cheap eats and drink specials. On weekends, the place is intensely packed, and best of all, not very touristy, unless we keep writing about it.

Great fun. A real Brazilian place, and good way to get away from all the TECHNO and other electronic music you here in Gay places. But this is not a Gay place, its a normal straight place, but still a lot of fun. Very authentic.
